內容說明：
《NARC》是由Midway經典同名街機遊戲改編的一款新作。故事講述的一個叫做K.R.A.
K的組織研究出了一種叫做「liquid soul」的藥品，而這種藥品將可以提供給使用者某
種超能力。K.R.A.K組織打算利用這藥品提供給世界上的犯罪份子而牟利，我們的主角
Jack和Marcus接受政府的任務，趕到亞洲地區阻止K.R.A.K組織的交易。遊戲中的最大特
點就是可以使用種類豐富的藥品，而這些藥品可不是像我們以前玩遊戲裡只是用來補充
能量的哦！它能夠給使用者帶來強勁的效果，遊戲裡把藥物效果發作的時間段叫做「藥
發時段(weed time)」，在藥發時段，遊戲的變化就是類似於《馬克斯佩恩》和《駭客帝
國》裡的慢動作效果。敵人的攻擊將會變的緩慢，但主角的速度卻會加快，玩家就要利
用好這段時間去把各個對手逐漸擊倒。當然，不同的藥物是會有不同的效果，其中「
liquid soul」將是遊戲裡面最霸道的藥物，能夠帶給使用者最強大的攻擊力。藥品可以
提供給玩家各種力量，但如果使用過度的話同樣會給角色帶來負面影響，如陷入行動混
亂的狀態等。Midway甚至表示遊戲可以不用依靠這些藥物都能夠通關，但既然遊戲的特
色是藥品，玩家當然都會去嘗試，如何合理的運用就要大家去思考！與目前歐美越來越
流行的開放式動作遊戲一樣，在本作中玩家可以選擇成為好警察或者壞警察。作為一個
好警察，每次查案都會把贓物和金錢充公，而作為壞警察可能會把金錢和毒品都據為己
有。毒品不僅可以賣給其他黑社會，還可以用來提高某些方面能力。在毒品的刺激下你
的能力可能會得到暫時提高，不過吸食一定次數後就會上癮。例如可以讓所有AI控制的
敵人都不攻擊你的迷幻藥使用12次後就會上癮，在螢幕上有一個上癮槽，每隔45秒都會
增加一點上癮程度。安眠酮是一種能夠讓時間暫時停止的藥，這時候你可以進入第一人
稱視點狙擊模式，向任何方向瞄準。不過吸食10次後就會上癮，上癮槽每隔30秒上升一
點。「液魂」是本作中最厲害的毒品，吸完之後會擁有強大的力量，不過也會有副作用
。雖然拳腳攻擊的殺傷力都大幅上升，這種毒品也是最容易上癮的，使用後每隔5秒上癮
槽就會上升一點。並且在吸食這種毒品的情況下，所有AI角色都會成為敵人，包括原來
的朋友在內。雖然毒品種類頗多，不過在一般情況下本作只可以使用迷幻藥。安眠酮藥
在收集到30袋任何種類的毒品後才會出現。液魂只有到達九龍見到Mr. Big之後才會看到
。VIS當然不會宣揚毒品，本作中毒品的副作用就是用來作為反面教材的。在吸毒上癮後
，玩家還要盡力控制主角擺脫毒癮。在遊戲中這是通過一些迷你遊戲的方式實現的。如
果無法戒掉毒癮就會淪為壞警察，被趕出警局，很多推進遊戲劇情的任務就無法完成了

Jack Forzenski is a man with a past?a bad past. As an undercover cop on
the Rockland Narco squad, Jack got in too deep and became an addict. Kicked
off the force, Jack endured months of rehab and counseling and has recently
been reinstated to the force.

Marcus Hill is now with the D.E.A. but used to work with Jack in Narco.
They used to be the stars of the squad, busting more criminals than the
rest of the units put together. Once Jack became addicted, Marcus quit
Rockland.

A heavy increase in drug trafficking has seen Marcus returned to his
Rockland to tracking a mysterious new drug that is sweeping over the
streets. Marcus and Jack are together again but that doesn急 mean that
either of them have to like it!

Eddie Jackson is a two-bit drug-dealer. He and he and his gang are caught
in a sting operation and surrounded by cops. The bullets start flying and
Eddie is gunned down. With his life ebbing away, Jackson injects himself
with a syringe and unbelievably he stands up, eyes glowing, and guns down
half the police force.

It's up to Jack and Marcus, along with the help of Agent Daniels, the Head
of NARC, to get to the bottom of what? going on in Rockland.

Decide whether to play it straight as a good cop or whether to cross the
line to be the bad cop.

Taking drugs can give you the extra edge you need but will soon lead to
dangerous addiction.

Take down bad guys with powerful arrest combos or blast them with an array
of heavy-duty weaponry.
